Adriana Gonzales from Galicië and The Burgenland born Martin Lichtenberger met at a harvest internship in California, where they fell in love and decided to start their own enterprise at Martin’s home town in Burgenland. Next to their busy jobs both as cellar masters at important high end wineries they started to work on 8 ha of vineyards on the mostly limestone based soils of the Leithaberg in the North of Burgenland. The focus lays on Blaufrankisch for the reds and Grüner Veltliner, Pinot Blanc and Neuburger for the whites. In their cellar extreme focus and attention to detail co-exist with brave experimental ideal. Adriana and Martin are seemingly the perfect winemaker couple, melting Adriana’s Latin temperament and Martin’s calm and focused nature.
